Our People

We're evolving into a more customer-focused, digitally-led organisation, where people are empowered to move fast, take smart risks and be accountable for outcomes. We value curiosity, courage and fresh thinking, and we're embracing new ways of working to deliver better outcomes for our customers.

Culture and Engagement

We cultivate a culture where people feel valued, thrive and contribute meaningfully to our business.

Through our culture and engagement surveys, we can better understand what's working, where we need to improve, and how we can support performance and connection across the business.

In FY26, we strengthened employee connection through in-office celebrations for milestones and cultural events, volunteering opportunities, Culture Ambassadors' feedback on Company-wide culture-related activities and the launch of Amplifying Connections via our recognition platform. These activities help team members to connect with colleagues across the business.

Performance and Development

We aim to attract and develop talented people who are aligned to our company culture and strategic goals. We invest in capability to support current performance, future skills and internal mobility.

In addition to providing training and workshops to meet audit requirements for responsible play, modern slavery and health and safety, we also deliver AI training and upskilling, and LinkedIn Learning to all team members.

Flexible Working

We recognise that the way our people achieve great outcomes will look different for everyone. Our ‘Flex for great outcomes’ approach balances company, team and individual priorities, trusting team members to work when and where they deliver great outcomes for our customers and their teams.

We value in-person connection as much as flexibility. Our people work under a blended model, combining time on-site with time working remotely. That mix looks slightly different for everyone, depending on their role, the type of work they do and their access to a suitable working environment.

Some team members prefer the office, some prefer to work virtually and many prefer a blend of both, so we bring people together deliberately to build connection and belonging across the business.

TLC Leave and Volunteering

In FY26, we introduced three annual days of paid TLC Leave that can be used to take time out for what matters most – volunteering, cultural celebrations, a birthday or taking a wellbeing day.

Parental and Family Leave

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and our parental leave policy flexes to support the choices of every parent and carer, whatever their gender. It includes support for parents, surrogacy and adoption, IVF, medical appointments, pregnancy loss, and foster and kinship carers.

We provide up to 18 weeks of fully flexible paid parental leave, which can be taken within the first 24 months of a child’s birth or adoption. We have also introduced one week of grandparent leave and six weeks’ leave for surrogates (gestational carriers), and increased fertility leave from four to eight days.

Belonging

We're committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace culture.

Our approach focuses on three priorities: recruiting, developing and retaining diverse talent, improving equity of opportunity, and building an inclusive culture where people can contribute fully.

Inclusion at Work

Our Diversity Network empowers our people to form communities of shared interest. This network has two streams allowing our people to lean into their areas of interest, meet new people and create change. Any employee can join and it’s entirely volunteer led.

Djari

Named after 'rainbow' in the Yolngu language of Arnhem Land, our Djari Indigenous inclusion network comprises of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members and allies who meet monthly to discuss how all of our team can deepen the inclusion of First Nations people and culture.

True Colours

Comprising of LGBTIQ+ team members and their allies, our True Colours Pride network offers a safe and welcoming community that drives positive change, awareness and education. The network plans and leads colourful Pride events across the business including Mardi Gras and Wear it Purple Day celebrations.

Health and Safety in the Workplace

We remain committed to the safety and wellbeing of our people and we continue to promote our Wellbeing Gateway app, giving team members and their immediate family access to health professionals for free and confidential advice in addition to providing free access to health and wellbeing resources.

Our Employee Assistance Program also offers mental health support, emergency counselling, career coaching, financial coaching, legal referrals, and Indigenous cultural assistance.
